Meta to Salesforce
in 15 Minutes.
How we eliminated a 24-hour lead handoff for a B2B service business by connecting the pipes between marketing and sales.
01. The Problem
A B2B service company was running Meta lead generation ads. The leads were coming in. The sales team was on Salesforce. And between those two facts — there was a full day of nothing.
"Leads would fill a Meta form, sit in Meta's lead centre, and wait for someone on the marketing team to manually download them. By the time a salesperson made first contact, 24 hours had passed."
In B2B, 24 hours is not a delay. It is a lost deal. The operations team knew it was a problem, but nobody had connected the pipes yet.
02. What We Built
The goal: a qualified, scored, assigned lead appears in Salesforce within minutes — without a single manual step.
Meta to HubSpot
Connected Meta Ads account to HubSpot. Mapped every form field to custom HubSpot properties built for B2B qualification.
HubSpot to Salesforce
Used the native connector to sync records. Generated custom fields in Salesforce and surfaced them on the Lead tab via Lightning Page configuration.
Scoring & Routing
Applied assignment rules in Salesforce based on qualification criteria. Set a 15-minute SLA for first response.
03. Who Was Involved
Marketing
Ad account connection & property mapping.
Operations
Salesforce connector & field configuration.
Pre-Sales
Routing rules & 15-minute SLA ownership.
04. The Result
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Lead to first contact | 24+ hours | Under 15 minutes |
| Manual steps in handoff | Multiple (download, clean) | Zero |
| Teams involved in handoff | 2 (manual transfer) | 0 (fully automated) |
| Lead scoring | None | Automatic |
| Lead routing | Manual assignment | Rule-based, instant |
